The CLA in MARNYS Forline CLA is obtained from the seeds of the plant Carthamus tinctorius, commonly known as safflower, which is herbaceous and thrives in warm and dry climates, being native to Egypt. This plant is grown mainly because of its seeds, which are used as edible oil and as birdseed. It contains a high amount of polyunsaturated linoleic acid (70%) and monounsaturated oleic acid (10%) with small amounts of stearic acid.
